Space Travel
Mankind has long wanted to travel into space and has made it but the early enthusiasm for the moon landings has waned. NASA cut their programme and some fatal crashes added to the lack of public interest. This could now change. The German astronaut Alexander Gerst and the other crew members have from Russia and the USA have entertained and enthused millions of followers on social media with their photos and regular postings. They will rank alongside such famous names as Gagarin, Armstrong and Aldrin.

We look back at the history of manned space flight, buckle up!
