In this sequence a piece of filter paper is folded in a cone and placed over a glass of vinegar, such that the top of the cone is slightly above the rim. Four colored washable markers are used to draw a circle around the center of the paper. When the vinegar reaches the paper, the ink dissolves and travels outward with the vinegar, in the process separating into constituent pigments.IdentifierAKG8195810CollectionScience SourceCredit lineakg-images / © PHOTO RESEARCHERS/SCIENCE SOURCEImage date28.4.2017TopicCHEMISTRYGLASSINKPHYSICSSEPARATIONSTUDIOVINEGARSize3210px × 4851px (44 MB) 27.1 cm × 41.0 cm @ 300 dpiAdd to lightbox: 'My First Lightbox'Add to cartDownload
