The museum has center in the made villa to construct in 1845 from Antonio Delavo in order to celebrate the Victoria of Napoleon (14 june 1800) on the Austrians and consequent annexation of the Piemonte to France. The villa was built up in the place where the battle of Marengo happened and of conserve cimeli and documents.
